Our standard

Red String is built for consent, clarity, and care. Nobody should harass, threaten, impersonate, manipulate, exploit, stalk, dox, or pressure another person through Red String.

If you feel unsafe with a partner

  • Nothing in Red String requires you to share more than you choose to.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. It removes you from any shared space, and it is always free.
  • Tell us through Support and choose "Safety concern."

Reporting someone

Where Red String introduces you to someone new, those screens include report and block. Reports are reviewed by the Red String team. You can also reach us through Support at any time.

What we review

  • Harassment or threats.
  • Fraud, impersonation, or coercive behavior.
  • Sexual pressure or non-consensual behavior.
  • Spam, scams, or platform abuse.
  • Anything that puts someone's safety at risk.

If you are in danger

Red String does not provide emergency response. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis resource.
